  • Bike Dog Brewing
    Bike Dog Brewing
    Bar/Tavern;  Business/Company;  Farm/Agricultural
Bike Dog Brewing Company is co-founded by four Sacramentans with a love for bikes, dogs and craft beer. The brewers fell in love with the endless flavor profiles available through brewing and the delicate hop profiles only available in incredibly fresh beer and want to share that love with beer drinkers from all over the Sacramento area. Bike Dog is West Sacramento’s first brewery and the only one in town with a tasting room. We operate a 3 barrel brewhouse (industry speak for really small) on site. Brewing small batches means the beer will always be amazingly fresh and allows for the flexibility to mix it up a little with new recipes getting brewed on a regular basis. Because it will be brewed in such small batches, much of the beer will be available only for purchase in the Bike Dog tasting room – allowing customers to see the beer go from grain to glass and hobnob with the brewers and allowing the brewers to personally nurture the local craft beer community.
  • Bogle Winery
    Bogle Winery
    Farm/Agricultural
Although the Bogle family has been farming since the mid-1800's, it was not until 1968 that the father and son team of Warren and Chris Bogle planted their first 20 acres of wine grapes in Clarksburg. In this small farming community nestled along the Sacramento River, the Bogle family's years of hard work have developed into an impressive grape growing operation, as well as a nationally acclaimed winery. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,200 acres of wine grapes in the Delta region.

  • Yisrael Family Urban Farm
    Yisrael Family Urban Farm
    Farm/Agricultural
Starting with 35 sq ft of growing space we set out to reduce our food bill, but as we learned that our farm was located in a food desert, we decided that in addition to growing food for ourselves that this message of self-sufficiency and hope should be taken and demonstrated to our local community and the world. Today, our mission is to transform the hood for G.O.O.D. using urban agriculture as a tool for community engagement, empowerment and employment.
