Enjoyed from the safety of your vehicle, your family will be treated to a dazzling display of more than 200 lighted silhouettes in nearly three dozen special vignettes – all carefully designed to bring a smile to the face of even the crankiest Grinch. There is a sparkling surprise around every corner as we celebrate the holiday season in every way imaginable. Tune in to our very own frequency on your car radio and turn up the volume to make this holiday ride more fun than a one-horse open sleigh! Order a souvenir light-up wand of your own and don’t forget the holiday kettle corn to complete this magical, safe and totally mesmerizing holiday lights experience. You in turn can help brighten the holidays for others by bringing donations for local charities and community groups who are making the holidays brighter for so many in our community.

Benefitting children and teens: Rancho Cordova’s 10th annual Christmas in Cordova event returns December 19, 2020! RCPD’s Youth Services Unit will support 350 families in need this holiday season by providing Christmas gifts in a drive-through format. You can support this event and make holiday wishes come true by donating a new unwrapped toy, gift wrapping paper, or by making a monetary donation. Benefitting local families and individuals in need:Rancho Cordova Food Locker will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items for their holiday food baskets.  Items needed include canned vegetables, gravy mix, pasta, instant potatoes, and soup. All non-perishable food items will be accepted. Rancho Cordova Food Locker – Fighting Hunger – Feeding Hope. Your donations fuel the fight and fund the hope. Benefitting our region’s homeless: Barnette’s Blankets will be accepting donations of new unused blankets that will be distributed over the holidays to the homeless. Cris and J.J. have been doing this drive for 11 years and as the need continues to grow, so does the generosity of all those who continue to donate. Benefitting veterans: Nation’s Finest will be accepting new unused pillows on behalf of Mather Veterans Village as they prepare to open 55 additional housing units! Pillows will be distributed to Veterans moving into Mather Veterans Village. Learn more at nationsfinest.org/our-services.

Benefitting seniors and veterans with four legged friends: Whisker Warriors will be accepting donations of unopened bags or cans of dog and cat food to distribute to low income seniors and veterans in our community. Whisker Warriors Animal Defense Fund has been serving the community since 2015. We administer a dog and cat free spay/neuter program for the city and control the population of stray cats.
