Fresh Air: Fremont Park

With social distancing in mind and safety measures in place, the new fitness series is aimed at encouraging an active lifestyle and social interaction, both of which are critical to the health of a thriving community. Classes include Pilates, meditation, dance, yoga, bootcamps, and more.

Week of October 26:
-Wednesday, Oct. 28: Meditation with Devon from 5:30pm-6pm
-Thursday, Oct. 29: Tai Chi with Embody Tai Chi from 5:30pm-6:30pm
-Friday, Oct. 30: Soul Flow Yoga with herElevated from 6pm-7pm
-Saturday, Oct. 31: Dance Fitness with Physique Dance Fitness from 11am-Noon

Note: The schedule is subject to change and additional classes may be added at a later date. If high temperatures result in the need for class cancellations, Eventbrite registrants will be alerted and cancellation information will be posted on Explore Midtown social media.

Midtown Parks is excited to offer Fresh Air: Fremont Park, a series of free health and wellness classes in Midtown August through October 2020. Launched last summer, Midtown Parks is non-profit 501(c)(3) arm of the organization that dovetails with the mission of the Midtown Association to create a center for culture, creativity and vibrancy in Sacramento’s urban core.

Open to all ages and fitness levels, those interested are encouraged to visit the website to review the weekly class schedule and to register. Each class is limited to 30 participants and pre-registration is required. All participants are asked to adhere to the physical distancing protocols in place that are outlined on the class registration page, per guidelines related to COVID-19 from the County of Sacramento Public Health Department.
