Yoga Nidra is an “indescribable place of awareness and peace.” In this gentle practice there is an opportunity to fully rest the mind and body. You lay down with pillow and blanket and are guided through a relaxing body scan letting go of thoughts, anxiety, and physical discomfort. There is no physical movement, no effort required.
During this difficult time, Yoga Nidra is a helpful practice for a more balanced and harmonious life. The realities in the world still exist but you navigate the world with less chaos; responding vs reacting. No experience is needed! Find a quiet comfortable space with no disruptions. Turn your phone to airplane mode and do not disturb. Grab a pillow, blankets, and a bolster for under the knees.
Jill Weston, owner of Breathing Space in Elk Grove will lead the session. Jill is known for being a “stress whisperer” using her calm vibe to help people pause, re-focus and remember their heart’s desire. Jill has been teaching Yoga Nidra since 2012 certifying through the California College of Ayurveda.
