Sacramento State’s Festival of New American Music (FeNAM) returns for another free nine-day extravaganza of great musical performances. Featured performers include Sandbox Percussion, Earplay, pianist and keynote speaker Sarah Cahill, Splinter Reeds, and jazz/fusion bassoonist Paul Hanson.

Festival Highlights:

-Sun (11/6): Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Splinter Reeds
-Mon (11/7): Keynote address from Sarah Cahill, Masterclass with Sarah Cahill, and Earplay
-Tues (11/8): Paul Hanson
-Wed (11/9): Riverrun, Student Artists Competition, and Cassatt Quartet
-Thurs (11/10): Student Composers Competition and Festival Ensemble
-Sat (11/12): Young Festival Performers and The Wee Trio
-Sun (11/13): Laurel Zucker and John Cozza (Note: Held at Crocker Art Museum) and Sarah Cahill
