Renaissance Choir: Songs of the Spanish Renaissance

Renaissance Choir: Songs of the Spanish Renaissance

at Crocker Art Museum

To complement the beautiful art in the exhibition Highest Heaven: Spanish and Portuguese Colonial Art from the Roberta and Richard Huber Collection, enjoy the gorgeous voices of the Renaissance Choir in the Crocker’s ballroom, featuring a program of seasonal music from Colonial Spanish America, including works by the Renaissance Spanish master Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611). Relish the ballroom’s grand acoustics as the Renaissance Choir’s 15-member acapella chorus fills the space with holiday music of an earlier era.
