Jenifer Lewis, American actress, author, and community activist will be the keynote presenter at the Exceptional Women of Color Expo and Awards Program focusing on “Women Helping Women: A Heritage of Hope and Healing — Bringing a message of inspiration, healing, and hope for communities of color.” Presented by the Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation.
Award-winning actress Jenifer Lewis, known as the “The Mother of Black Hollywood” and co-star of ABC’s Black-ish, will bring songs, comedy, and the keynote message to the 11th Annual Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) program. The special event will feature Leshelle May in lively discussion and Q&A conversation with Jenifer Lewis on stage following her keynote presentation. LeShelle May, the wife of UC Davis Chancellor Gary May, is a highly accomplished computer engineer recognized for her leadership and innovation in the development of software and web applications.
