The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Presented by St. John\'s Lutheran Church at St. John's Lutheran Church

St. John’s concert series is hosting a special showing of the original 1923 The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Walt Strony, a renowned theater organist, will provide the soundtrack and special music effects on the organ.

Walt Strony has performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally, both as theater and classical organist. Recently in 2011, he was inducted into the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS) Hall of Fame after being named “Organist of the Year” by the ATOS twice in 1991 and 1993. Mr. Strony studied theater organ with Al Melgard, former staff organist at the Chicago Stadium. In addition to his reputation as a theater organist, Mr. Strony is sought after as a pipe and digital organ consultant-tonal finisher, recently commissioned by the Allen Organ Company to create a signature series organ named after him.

While the official rating of this film is not rated, parental guidance of young children is suggested.
