This donation-based workshop will entail creating up to 12 mandalas, utilizing three 18-minute meditation periods to increase visualization, calm, and creativity. Play with art, share in community, and promote healing with Lindsay Kay Parkinson, ATR-BC & Licensed MFT. A special presentation by Lama Yeshe Jinpa will be give and include a meditation practice.
Art Therapy is way for people of all ages and cultures to use art as language — it is used within individual, family, and group therapeutic settings to promote healing for both psychological and physical pain. Join to spend the day playfully creating art, have fun designing your own unique mandalas, and learn something new about yourself and art therapy!
