Introduction to Peaceful and Wrathful Compassion (...

Presented by Placerville Friends of Tibet at Diamond Springs Center for Healing Arts and Training

In Tibetan Buddhism, compassion is a state of mind, wanting others to be free from suffering. Genuine compassion must have both wisdom and lovingkindness. Wrathful compassion may, in part, be considered as transforming negative mental factors into wisdom and compassion.

Join in for this two part, three hour workshop that will be led by a senior monk from Gaden Shartse monastery.

This event is part of a two week visit by the Gaden Shartse monastery monks.

All proceeds support the Gaden Shartse Monastery located in southern India.
