Presented by Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships at Northstar Village Cinema

North Lake Tahoe hosts the annual Tahoe Film Fest. The event brings internationally-acclaimed films to various venues, focusing on environmental, foreign and independent films. Presented by Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP), the festival focuses on environmental programming in order to celebrate the natural beauty of the region and those who work to maintain it.

Festival Director, Robert Roussel, has worked with film producers and actors, including George Roy Hill and Robin Williams. He spent 14 producing films at Warner Bros. Studios, and co-founded the Puerta Vallarta Film Festival.

Festival venues include Northstar Village Cinema, Incline Village Cinema, and Truckee Community Arts Center.
