Coco, a Disney film inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, will play on a 25-foot outdoor movie screen on special display at DOCO plaza.
Guests of all ages will enjoy a memorable movie experience on a 25-foot outdoor movie screen on special display at DOCO plaza. Moviegoers can listen on one of the free headsets available to check-out and borrow (while supplies last) or through the listen app on individual smartphones and earbuds. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket or borrow one available on-site (while supplies last); no lawn chairs please.
Leading up to the movie showing, DOCO has partnered with Sol Collective to offer free activities for children that will include making Dia de los Muertos paper marigolds and having their faces painted in traditional designs. The free hands-on crafts will begin at 5:30 p.m. and guests of all ages are welcome. Additionally, Telemundo (T33) will be on-site to meet guests and introduce the movie.
While movie viewing is free, guests who make a minimum $20 DOCO food purchase between 6pm-9pm on the day of the event can enter and enjoy a special VIP seating area for an optimal experience.
