Red Ex: Vol. II

Presented by The Red Museum at The Red Museum

Red Ex is an indoor/outdoor music festival with local food, beer, wine, and cocktails hosted by and benefiting The Red Museum.

Headlining is Cherry Glazerr, recently named Best Indie Band in LA by L.A. Weekly. The band is led by Clemintine Creevy, whose artistic endeavors have included collaborating with Death Grips and Tyler, the Creator to modeling for a 2013 Yves Saint Laurent campaign to being the subject of the short VICE doc “Clementine Creevy: The Millennial Punk Feminist Icon.” The band received critical acclaim for their recent album Apocalipstick which was released in 2017 on Secretly Canadian. In 2018, they played Coachella and opened for Portugal, The Man and The Breeders.

The Red Museum is stoked to host Curls of San Francisco, the project of former Girls frontman Christopher Owens, as well as the Red Ex return of Sacramento’s Drug Apts with new material in anticipation of their upcoming debut full-length record. We’ll also see a reunion of the Sacramento’s beloved Exquisite Corps, led by renowned artist and muralist Bryan Valenzuela. Tiki Dreamers, comprised by the influential songwriter Justin Trosper of the seminal post-hardcore band Unwound and Michael Thiemann and Tristan Tozer of Drug Apts, will premiere new material. Bay Area talents Perhapsy and Tino Drima (recent signees to local label Friendship Fever) also perform alongside Sacramento’s Makebelief, Tre Burt, Mini Hahas (feat. April Walker of Spacewalker), and Indijean.

There will be Ruhstaller beer, Bogle wine, some Burly cocktails, and dope food available.
