Award-winning children’s book and comics writer, Lee Nordling will be signing his newest release, Chavo the Invisible, at Empire’s Comics Vault.
Parents and grandparents, this is the one event you won’t want to miss, because Nordling’s books are training-wheel comics primers for those who are just learning to read.
Chavo the Invisible is Nordling’s third book in his wordless-comics Game for Adventure children’s book series, this one with artist Flávio Silva.
Nordling garnered two Eisner Award nominations, the comics industry version of the Academy Awards, from his previous series, Four Story Books.
Recently relocated to Sacramento, Nordling is a comics and publishing industry veteran who’s worked for Mattel Toys, the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics. He was also the editor at Nickelodeon Magazine for the syndicated Rugrats comics strip.
Empire’s Comics Vault has a nice open floor plan that caters to all ages and interests, with plenty of seating for the casual peruser.
