Intimate and lyrical one moment to diva-level power in the next, Velarde pulls out all the stops as she crafts a variety and originality in her music that keeps listeners on the edge of their seats.
According to Bazooka plays an indie folk pop style both familiar and all there own. Featuring songwriters Richard Urbino and Rene Martucci, this duo presents a combination of arch top guitar, accordion, and male and female vocals.
Proxy Moon’s music is rooted in jazz, blues, folk, country with an emphasis on original songs, strong, interesting lyrics and melodies delivered with spirited musicianship. They’ve been described as esoteric and poetic, deep while being entertaining, rootsy and “real, rainy, rich and relentless.”
