Presented by Pence Gallery at Pence Gallery

Createfest is a free community event that encourages the participation of young visual artists, filmmakers, performers, and designers to display and sell their artwork. The event will feature a Maker’s Market, where artists can display and sell their artwork to the public. Come fine some great art from up and coming artists and support your local art scene. Additionally, the event will feature a video festival, featuring shorts by local filmmakers.

The event will also feature musical performances by teen bands such as Hostile and Confused, Sausage, and The Unofficials, among other bands. Rock out to live music and enjoy pizza from Woodstock’s Pizza for purchase and other treats on a warm Davis night. There is something for all ages at Createfest. Hands-on activities, bike decorating, chalk drawing, flower art, posing at our photo booth, and many more hands-on activities. Guests will enjoy an evening of art, performance and fun, including a raffle with awesome things to win from local businesses.

The event marks the culmination of the four-month intensive program called Teens Take Charge. The program gives teens the opportunity to meet practicing artists, tour studios and public art sites, create their own public art piece, and display their artwork to the community at a fun, festive and art-filled event.
