    Aging UP is a nonprofit public benefit corporation with the mission of empowering youth with experience in foster care to successfully transition into adulthood. They accomplish their mission by providing three core services to Sacramento youth (ages thirteen-seventeen) who have had any experience in foster care. Services include: one-to-one mentoring, positive recreation, and independent living skills education.

    Allied Ceramics Art Institute (ACAI) Studios & Gallery is a community studio operated by the Allied Ceramics Art Institute (ACAI) a 501 C(3) California Public Non-Profit Corporation. The Studio provides the space, equipment, and support needed for ceramic arts. It offers outstanding artistic, educational, and collaborative opportunities. ACAI serves everyone in the East Sacramento communities of Fair Oaks, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Gold River, and Carmichael. We have made a number of changes due to the recent change in county status: -Are continuing all of the health practices we have previously implemented. -We now require students and visitors to sign in with their name phone & email. This will facilitate contact tracing if needed. -We have added touchless soap dispensers and towel dispensers in all our bathrooms. -We have implemented a keyless entry system that tracks when members visit the studio. This will facilitate contact tracing if needed. -We have increased our regular sanitation routines.

    Altered Egos Art House is an LGBTQ’s community art gallery for the Sacramento area. Altered Egos Art House features solo exhibitions, group shows, musicians, appetizers, wine to savor, and more every 2nd Saturday. Madame Vihil Vigil and Sir Yolie Reyes invitie the community to take part in this long standing dream of having a gallery for the Sacramento LGBT Community to exhibit their art work without having to pay for their exhibition space up front.

In a lauded public-private partnership, the City of Sacramento, SMUD and the Powerhouse Science Center embarked on a multi-year effort to transform the 114-year-old historic power station on Jibboom Street into a dynamic regional destination. MOSAC will bring K-12 schools, colleges, universities, libraries, museums, and other community resources together to remove barriers and build a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) learning ecosystem that broadens and enriches each learner’s personal journey with the ultimate goals of inspiring more students to enter STEAM careers and of creating a more science literate community.
