Joan Garry
Widely known as the “Dear Abby” of nonprofit leadership, Joan writes a blog for nonprofit leaders read worldwide at www.joangarry.com and hosts the #1 nonprofit podcast: Nonprofits Are Messy. Joan is principal and lead “fixer” at Joan Garry Consulting, working with nonprofit boards and staff as a strategic advisor, crisis manager, change agent and strategic planner. Joan also teaches at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on nonprofit communications and leadership. Her book, Joan Garry’s Guide to Nonprofit Leadership was published in March 2017.
Vu Le
Vu Le (“voo lay”) is a writer, speaker, vegan, Pisces, and the Executive Director of Rainier Valley Corps, a nonprofit in Seattle that promotes social justice by developing leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaboration between diverse communities.
