Dustbowl Revival is an L.A.-based Americana orchestra that blends genres from all over the early folk spectrum. They will incorporate pre-war blues, swing, hot jazz and any other type of folk-heyday sound. The band may be from Southern California, but you’d never guess that from their sound. They play music that is awash in sepia tones. Dustbowl Revival is just that — a revival of whirlwinds, tumbleweeds and any and all music that involves a banjo.
