Taps and Tales

You have a story that needs to be heard! Join in for Taps and Tales presented by Sudwerk Brewing Co., Bike City Theatre Co., and Empire Arts Collective, and come tell your tale, or simply bear witness to the experiences of others over a beer.

September’s theme is FIRSTS. Life is full of adventures into uncharted territories. Whether it’s your first time riding a bike, your first car accident, your first kiss, or a first you never expected to have, every first is the birth of new perspectives and experiences.

At each event, a storyteller will be nominated by the audience to advance to our end of season grand slam. Sign ups begin 30 minutes before show time. Stories should be between 5 and 8 minutes long. Names will be drawn out of a hat to determine which storytellers will fill 10 open slots for the evening.
