Street Photography and Adobe Lightroom Editing

Designed for those wishing to stretch beyond landscapes and portraits, this class offers students practical experience creating street photographs,exercises through hands-on experience, visual examples, and demonstration. Participants will learn how to use Adobe Lightroom to manage and organize photos, and how to properly import, catalog, develop, and export images for a variety of uses.

Prerequisites:

• Students should have basic computer knowledge and understand how to use the computer they are bringing to class.

Gear Requirements:

• DSLR camera and smartphone
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Students need a laptop, with Lightroom Classic CC already installed
• Earlier versions of Lightroom can be used, but some features are not available
• At least 15 GB of free hard drive space

About the Instructor:

Farrell Scott is a professional photographer and graphic designer with extensive experience in marketing and communications. Scott’s photography ranges from still life and food to child portraiture, and architecture with an emphasis on capturing detail.
