Join in as local historian and real estate expert Mark Davidson presents Secrets of the Land: Sacramento’s Mexican Land Grants. His talk will cover the Sacramento and Alta California of the 1840s with a particular emphasis on the Land Grant process, the cattle business, the Sacramento area’s eight local grant locations, the most compelling stories behind them, and how the Mexican War, Statehood and the Gold Rush brought on their eventual demise.
