Please join in for an evening in the CapRadio Garden to celebrate Sacramento State Sustainability. Enjoy local food and drinks from sustainable partners in the region. Several student projects will be on display such as our solar golf cart built by Mechanical Engineering students and our award-winning Tiny House, built right here on campus by students!
Please consider making an additional donation to fund future student projects such as the Living Building Challenge; an exciting program tasking students to build an “off-the-grid” home achieving net positive energy production, and net positive water production with minimal environmental impact. Funds can be used for, but aren’t limited to: equipment, materials and costs related to planning sustainability projects on campus. Your contributions will make a difference!
Sacramento State is working to reduce its environmental impact, but more importantly, to create a place where students’ innovative ideas can be explored and sustainability pioneers can be shaped. In support of enriching students’ education with real world sustainability experience, funds from this event will support hands-on sustainability projects that support academic curriculum, while enhancing the physical campus.
