Rock This Town (Harris Center for the Arts)

Cantare Chorale of the Sierra Foothills, under the direction of Artistic Director, Mariia Pechenova, presents concerts that celebrate, educate, and never cease to charm audiences.The chorale’s spring concert is titled, Rock This Town!, after Brian Setzer’s noteworthy song of the same name.

The concert program features numerous best loved songs from the 30’s through to present day. With tributes to the soulful and unique styles of exceptional artists such as Ray Charles, Hoagy Carmichael, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Bill Withers, and rock and pop bands the Marcels, Stray Cats, The Beatles, Queen, and Pentatonix; the concert will feature the hottest hits from across the decades.

The seventeen songs on the program are guaranteed to leave listeners wanting to tap their toes or hum the beautiful melodies. It is a program that is certain to send each audience member home with a song “rockin’ in their heart.”
