Rio Linda Farmers Market

Fresh produce from local farmers, handmade crafts, and food from vendors every Sunday at Depot Park in Rio Linda.

This farmers market started out of the need to sell farm-fresh produce. As small scale farmers themselves, H&K Farms felt that most “farmers” markets are ran by non-profit organizations that do not understand the nuances which farmers and crafters have to go through to get their product to market. This led to the decision to open the Rio Linda farmers markets and run it for farmers and vendors by farmers and vendors. H&K Farms wanted to create a market system that was closely tied to the land and the people that work the earth, so they partner with small and medium-sized local farms to bring you farm-fresh goods. Handmade and homemade crafts and foods are also welcome. Help make the local food system more sustainable, more communal, and more farmer owned.
