Redefining The Spectrum of Ability Work Skills Fair

Created with the goal of sharing vital information to maximize the skill sets of this unique and talented population, the Redefining The Spectrum of Ability Work Skills Fair will be held at Meristem’s flagship campus. Attendees will be able to participate in a range of workshops for job seekers, parents and employers as well as browse information tables and activities which share knowledge, strategies, support services and success stories of those who have found and sustained meaningful work.

While one in 68 individuals in the U.S. is now diagnosed with ASD, 35 percent of young adults aged 19-23 have not received any post graduate education or had any job after leaving high school. This represents a sizeable portion of the potential workforce that remains undeveloped in our country.
