Reconciliation Singers Voices of Peace Benefit Concert (Journey Church)

Reconciliation Singers Voices of Peace (RSVP) spring concerts will provide support and raise awareness for the Center for Land-Based Learning, a local non-profit cultivating a new crop of farmers and food system entrepreneurs by inspiring youth to give agriculture a chance. With world population expected to reach 10 billion by 2050, the average age of the American farmer at nearly 60, and less than 2% of college students enrolled in agriculture and natural resources majors, now is the time to invest in our future land stewards and agricultural leaders.

Sharing the stage with RSVP this season is a wonderful musician and songwriter, the Sacramento based bassist and singer Casey Lipka. Born and raised in Venice, Casey draws from multiple genres including rock, pop, jazz, folk, and world music to create her own eclectic sound. Featuring vocals, bass, guitar and drums, her music is influenced by Little Dragon, Becca Stevens and Baden Powell. Once you hear Casey, you’ll be hooked!
