Read to a Dog

School aged children are invited to read aloud to trained therapy dogs, accompanied by volunteers from the Lend-A-Heart Association. This is a wonderful program for reluctant readers. The dogs are great listeners.

This free program takes place the first Tuesday of each month. Children may bring their own reading material, or borrow books from the library collection. If you arrive early, please come into the library and enjoy the children’s area, filled with toys, books, computer games, and more!
