On the Line Exhibit

Roberta Russo works intuitively, rarely starting with more than a general vision. Her finished pieces appear highly abstracted, but consistently deal with the duality and/or contradiction of body and soul. The physical world surrounds you and impacts you in the form of your actual body, your community, your world. Your soul, however, is nebulous. Regardless of your preferred term or religious philosophy, your soul is what makes you who you are. It is your spark, your vitality, your personality.

Gloria Woolley work is an expression of the mood the memories of everything she has seen from her mind. She paints loosely and dramatically, unintentional and intentional at times while using an assortment of tools in her creative process. Gloria a teacher of the arts for over 30 years can work in any media from very large paintings on canvas to small works which she is sharing in On the Line.
