MOSAIC: Gala Concert

Sacramento State’s annual MOSAIC Concert has become a highly popular music experience in just two years, with performances ranging from orchestral classical pieces, to swinging jazz, to thrilling choral numbers, and even finger snapping!

The MOSAIC concert features a wide variety of student ensembles performing, and is a great way to sample what they have to offer throughout the year. This performance will feature a Symphonic Wind Ensemble (music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens), a Jazz Ensemble (performing an original commissioned piece by progressive jazz/rock group Snarky Puppy), a Vocal Jazz Ensemble, an Opera Theatre (performing a selection from their spring production of Il Campanella di Notte), and a performance by pianist Luis Rubalcaba Cota (performing preludes of Albert Ginastera).

This year’s free performance will be followed by a reception.
