Curl it, rub it, paint it, mold it – there are all sorts of ways to mash materials together! After an adventure in the galleries, play with many different materials to create your own art. Sign up for one session or all four.

Instructor: Shannon Leigh

As a Sacramento native who works as a kindergarten teacher and a handwork teacher, Shannon Leigh interweaves her passion for children with a lifelong delight in creating things with her hands. She encourages students to engage multiple senses as the process and experience of creating art unfold and views movement and music as vital components of a whole curriculum. Leigh is especially passionate about using materials, elements, and themes of Nature to bring artistic processes to life for young children.
