Homegrown acoustic duo Dr. Jeff Kepple and daughter Kelsey will perform a benefit concert for Plumas Health Care Foundation, March 3, 2017, at the West End Theatre at 541 Main Street in Quincy, CA. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show begins at 7:00 PM. “Love Is What You Do” features a repertoire of original tunes, from folk to gospel to jazz, showcased in a stunning blend of vocal harmonies.
The pair will perform some of their most beloved songs, including headliner “Love is what you do.” Both show and original song emphasize and celebrate small town labors of love.
Dr. Jeff Kepple dedicated 20 years to family medicine and obstetrics in Quincy before accepting the role as CEO of Plumas District Hospital. The remarkable stories of many of Jeff’s patients have inspired his songwriting and musical expression, as have the delights and challenges of rural family life. Kelsey is a violinist, vocalist, string arranger and a passionate improvisational player. Musical guests will join the duo for special appearances!
“My definition of community is ‘people from diverse backgrounds coming together in a common place to get good things done,’” says Kepple. Plumas Health Care Foundation members work voluntarily to raise funds and community support to enhance the services and facilities at Plumas District Hospital. “I wanted to offer something I could do for the Foundation,” he continued.
Thanks to kindheartedness of its donors, the Foundation has been able to support Plumas District Hospital through the purchase new diagnostic equipment, Adopt-A-Room projects, and by joining the community-driven new ambulance purchase. This past holiday season, the Foundation once again celebrated the spirit of giving through the lighting of the Hospital’s giant Christmas tree. Special events and the generosity of our community allow the Foundation’s season of giving to last throughout the year. All proceeds from “Love Is What You Do” will benefit Plumas Health Care Foundation.
