Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) will host the 23rd Annual Latina Action Day, a one day conference designed to facilitate dialogue between Latina corporate and community leaders and elected officials on public policy affecting Latinas in California.
Through town halls and panel discussions, HOPE presents up to date information, analysis, and access to decision makers on critical issues such as healthcare access, higher education, and the California state budget. Thought provoking sessions will be held on civic engagement and community action with compelling speakers from grassroots organizations and California government offices. HOPE, in partnership with leading California legislators, will present a select group of Latinas making significant contributions to their communities with the Latina Advocate award during the conference reception.
