Kikagaku Moyo with The Mindful

Tokyo-based psychedelic folk rockers Kikagaku Moyo (Japanese for Geometric Patterns) will be the headlining band for Davis Live Music Collective’s quarter three show at the City of Davis Veterans Memorial Theatre. Local experimental rock group The Mindful will be kicking things off with an opening set.

Kikagaku Moyo is the musical union between five free spirits. Since 2013 the band has released three full lengths, two EPs, and several singles. They have toured Australia, the United States, Europe and Japan extensively. To Kikagaku Moyo a song is like a breath of wind through the leaves or a fish jumping from the water. Their music is a conversation—sometimes delicate and tender, other times explosive, but always human and always changing. Local experimental rock group The Mindful will be kicking things off with an opening set.
