Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park is a winning combination of the best-selling science-fiction writing of Michael Crichton, the visually dynamic directing of Steven Spielberg, and the amazing special effects puppetry of Stan Winston. This movie set the bar very high for all the special effects and adventure movies which followed it. Amazing sound design and some wonderful performances from Laura Dern, Sam Neil, and Jeff Goldblum are some more pieces of a very entertaining puzzle.
