San Francisco based artist Anne Veraldi uses photography as a medium to create highly conceptual work. She employs various objects, often toys, to stage and suggest tales that appear to be floating between reality and dream. A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, Veraldi’s work is can be viewed in the private and public collections of the Crocker Art Museum and Di Rosa Preserve.
The immensely intricate interplay of positive and negative space contributes to the expressive and dynamic quality of woodblock prints by Mick Sheldon. This new series explores the possibilities of the still life with a whimsical twist. Each print is hand colored adding to its visual intrigue.
