Fused in music, dance and new media animated imagery, In the Time of the Butterflies, comes to the Sacramento State Playwrights’ Theatre. Directed by Roberto Pomo, the production is a magical realistic story about the Mirabal sisters, whose assassination in 1960s Dominican Republic led to a worldwide movement.
