Glenn Willumson, professor emeritus at the University of Florida and author of Iron Muse: Photographing the Transcontinental Railroad, returns to the Crocker to share the fascinating history and myth making behind the America’s railroads. An adviser to The Race to Promontory: The Transcontinental Railroad and the American West, Willumson will delve into the philosophical, cultural, and economic impact of the railroad and its documentation.
