In the Groove: The Art and Science of Vinyl Records

Have you ever wondered how a vinyl record was made? How it was invented? And why people are so fond of this “obsolete” technology? Join Scott Soriano for an evening of vinyl lore. Scott will talk about the invention of the phonographic record, how sound comes off those grooves, and why people enjoy the sound of old vinyl records.

Scott has played on, recorded, produced, and released records for over 20 years. He currently run the S-S Records and Sol Re Sol Records labels.
