George Cole Trio Concert: Cole Swings Cole

The George Cole Trio plays Nat King Cole at 100 in this Centennial Celebration Concert. Internationally renowned, award winning guitar virtuoso and crooner George Cole (guitarist for David Grisman, guitar teacher to Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, and guitarist for legend Keely Smith) brings his all-star trio to the Palms Playhouse in celebration of Nat King Cole and his musical legacy.

March 2019 marks the centennial of Nat King Cole’s birth and George Cole is honored to celebrate him, keeping his unforgettable music alive! A not to be missed, all ages event featuring George Cole, pianist Greg Sankovich, and bassist Carla Kaufman. The trio performs George Cole’s superb original music and that of Nat King Cole’s legendary decades-spanning career, from the early trio music to his ’50s and ’60s pop hits. From Carnegie Hall to The Paramount, George Cole has performed and toured internationally bringing audiences to their feet at every show. At the Palms Playhouse, he’ll be pulling out all the stops with an engaging, entertaining show saluting a true American genius of Jazz music.
