Free E-Waste Collection Drive

Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (Regional San) and Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD) has partnered with Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) to host an E-waste recycling event. SRCC is a CA State approved Collector of Electronic Waste. SRCC takes all the material to CEAR who is a CA State approved Collector & Recycler of Electronic Waste.

Accepted E-waste items include monitors, TVs, desktop and notebook PCs, VCRs, stereo equipment, speakers, keyboards, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones, cell phones, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, vacuum cleaners, and small household appliances such as toasters, mixers, and blenders.

Recycling E-waste aligns closely with our values of Environmental Stewardship and Responsibility by reducing the amount of hazardous materials sent to landfills or for disposal overseas and allowing the responsible reuse of valuable resources such as aluminum, gold, silver, and copper.
