Foundations of Pranayama at Yoga Seed
Pranayama is a set of techniques where breathing is intentionally altered. These breath exercises affect and direct prana (life force) within the body and can help build better stress management, greater emotional self-regulation and a deeper yoga practice. Pranayama can be practiced on it’s own or integrated with asana (yoga postures) and/or seated meditation.
