Foghat formed in London, England in 1971 and over the course of their elaborate career, they have achieved eight gold records, one platinum, and one double platinum record. Since the release of their self-titled debut album, the band has become a worldwide rock and roll sensation; and they continue to release new albums, securing a place in the hearts of fans, new and loyal. The band may be English born, but their three-cord, straightforward, slide guitar, blues-rock sound is as American as it gets.
