City of Trees Brass Band and Sam Eliot's Spirit Disco

City of Trees Brass Band was born on the streets of Sacramento, drawing influences in the form of music and tradition from the city and music of New Orleans. While musicians call them Jazz, casual listeners prefer more abstract descriptions like Party, Celebration, and Dance. Over the years, the band has reached the Sacramento community by staying true to its “takin’ it to the streets” upbringing as well as hitting all of the staple venues in Sac.
