A healing ceremony.
Ched drol, in Tibetan, means “to make free of obstacles” and is a ritual for removing obstacles that hold us back from achieving enlightenment. This ritual involves a lot of audience participation, including having rainbow yarn, symbolizing negative patterns, wrapped around our neck and hands, then the string is ritually cut to symbolize cutting through obstacles that have held us back. Ched Drol has been a crowd favorite wherever the monks present it.
