Casablanca features one of the most over-used misquotes in cinematic history. “Play it again, Sam” is actually not a direct line from the film, more of a paraphrase. The song however, “As Time Goes By”, is the real deal, and has become one of the most recognizable and beloved compositions ever put on the silver screen.

Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman both put in iconic performances in this 1942 film about the shattering effects of war on the human condition. The Crest Theatre is pleased to bring this beloved gem back to its historic screen!
