Ben Folds and A Piano

Ben Folds is coming to the Gallo Center with his amazing acoustic show! Solo at his grand piano and anchored as always by songs — classic and current — this performance is about storytelling, interaction, and improvisation with a stage full of instruments, his laptop, and a projection screen. Although his improvisational songs with random internet chatters at a live show earned a healthy 10 million views in 2010, he never took that hit idea on tour until now.

A multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter/producer, Folds first found success with the Ben Folds Five. He’s gone on to have a successful solo career, writing and performing pop hits, recording multiple studio and LIVE albums, collaborating with other artists, and writing and recording for film and TV. In its first five seasons on the air, Folds also achieved critical acclaim for his insight as a judge on NBC’s a cappella competition show, The Sing-Off.
