American Legend: Cal Firefighters Benefit Concert

Sunny Mitchell Theatre Projects is recognizing those in the region that are battling to save our state of California from the ravaging wildfires that have devastated countless lives and are continuing to threaten more. They are proud offering 100 percent of the concert ticket proceeds to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.

American Legend is a trail-blazing and spirited tribute to the life of an American icon debuted in Folsom as a benefit concert for the City of Folsom’s Johnny Cash Art Trail in 2016. Back by popular demand, American Legend will take you on a musical journey with songs from original country artists that influenced Cash’s writings and sound, including the Carter Family. Experience the Sun Records hits of the ’50s and ’60s, such as “I Walk the Line” and “Get Rhythm,” along with Cash’s last ground-breaking songs with American Recordings. Multi-talented artists will take the stage to share the Man in Black’s unique story through music and movement.
