The Abstracted Landscape Workshop

This 2-day acrylic workshop instructed by Jaya King will highlight the relationship of core compositional elements between landscapes and abstracts. The first day will focus on creating a simple landscape using a limited color palette, and students will learn glazing and layering techniques to achieve depth. The second day of the workshop will use the created landscape as inspiration for a new abstract painting. Demonstrations and individualized feedback will be given throughout the workshop.
