27th Annual Africa Peace Awards Dinner

Join Sacramento State for its signature event, the 27th annual Africa Peace Awards hosted by the Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution (CAPCR). This event which honors outstanding individuals and groups that promote Peace and Conflict Resolution throughout the African Diaspora is an wonderful gathering of University Faculty, Alumni and friends of Sacramento’s diverse community who support the center’s mission.

The event will be the culmination of a conference whose theme is the “African Peace and Security Architecture: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities.”

This year, Sacramento State proudly honors Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, who is also the keynote speaker, among other peace awardees.
